At The Elston Clinic, we are committed to providing our patients with the most advanced and effective cosmetic treatments available. Similar to our surgical treatments, you can anticipate ACTUALLY noticing a long term difference with any laser treatment that is performed. We pride ourselves on results that last and only offer services that our patients notice and their friends gush over. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our new Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Laser, which is capable of treating a wide range of skin conditions.

At The Elston Clinic, we believe that every patient is unique, which is why we offer personalized IPL Laser treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs. Our experienced team of physicians will work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns and helps you achieve the best possible results.  Most conditions will require additional medical therapy to enhance the results and we may also recommend multiple treatment sessions with the laser for the best results.

In addition to our IPL Laser treatments, we also offer a wide range of other cosmetic services, including neurotoxin to existing surgical patients, CO2 laser skin resurfacing, and plastic surgery procedures. Our goal is to help our patients look and feel their best, and we’re committed to providing the highest level of patient care and satisfaction with results that LAST.

If you’re interested in learning more about our IPL Laser treatments or any of our other cosmetic services, please contact The Elston Clinic today to schedule a consultation. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals and enhance your natural beauty.

Acne

For patients struggling with acne, our IPL Laser can help reduce the appearance of acne scars and blemishes.  As with any customized treatment plan, these sessions can include targeting the deeper cystic type acne that leads to sore and red nodules or the more superficial whiteheads.  The light targets the bacteria that causes acne and helps to reduce inflammation and redness.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin condition that can cause redness, inflammation, and bumps on the skin. The mainstay of therapy is medical creams and sometimes oral medications, but our IPL Laser can help reduce the appearance of rosacea by targeting the blood vessels that cause redness and flushing.  This not only provides immediate reduction in flushing that is noticeable within a few hours, but also coagulates the blood vessels long term to prevent further flushing or dilated veins.

Pigment/Age Spots

As we age, we develop dark spots on our skin as a result of sun damage. Reducing the appearance of pigment/age spots by targeting the melanin in the skin and breaking it down can be achieved using two separate filters (one for more superficial pigment and the other for deeper pigment) to provide photofacial rejuvenation that causes the pigment to flake up to the skin and slough over the next few days.  Removing pigment brightens the skin and provides a more even texture that gives your skin the glow you’ve been missing.

Facial Rejuvenation

If you’re looking to reduce the signs of aging on your face or just stave off wrinkles with prejuvenation, our IPL Laser can help. The laser heats the tissue and stimulates collagen production in the skin, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  A long term plan started early enough can help push rejuvenating procedures such as facelifts and blepharoplasties off since your skin sags less over time.

Permanent Hair Removal

If you’re tired of dealing with unwanted armpit, bikini, or leg hair, our IPL can treat almost all skin types and hair types. The laser targets the hair follicles and destroys them, preventing regrowth.  We typically recommend multiple sessions spaced far enough apart to target the hairs when they’re in different stages of growth.  Too many treatments in a short amount of time will miss some of the hairs and lead to growth.  With that being said, even after one treatment you’ll notice that the hairs are finer and less numerous.
